Literacy Partners is a non-profit that teaches adult New Yorkers how to read. Every year they host a Gala to raise funds for the year.

The client has entrusted us for the past three years to design for their Annual Gala. The project was to design the look for the 2019 Literacy Partners Gala. They use bright colors in their everyday identity so the challenge was, how can we use the existing identity colors to represent an elegant event.

The concept design was created by Sofiya Levina. She helped me out in presenting what the design element would look like and I built out all the collateral based off of that. The gradients were meant to represent the students of Literacy Partners and the blend of their cultures. The lines were also used in an upward motion to showcase the growth and development of the organization.
